➥ Canon: The Great Library; pre-series after the events of Stormcrow
➥ The Great Library is set in an alternate history where the Library of Alexandria was never burned. Instead, it became a super power and governing force, keeping all originals safe within its confines and allowing mirror copies out in the world for a price. There are daughter libraries called Serapeums all over the globe. Owning original books is illegal and can be punishable by fine, imprisonment or death.
➥ This version of of Christopher is from shortly after the events of Stormcrow, so young adult (18-20). He's a Scholar for the library, but also now a Stormcrow - someone who leaves the safety of his protective walls to be sent on dangerous missions, including but not limited to research, smuggling raids, evacuating Library staff from Serapeums under attack, and securing and retrieving books. He's arrogant, quick tempered, and a lone wolf in most things, though he's learned his lesson well enough about what he knows of the world outside of the Library's granted safety and how he has a lot of learning left to do in the ways of those that do not like the Library's rule.
